Who we are
Passly is a study app for the Italian driving theory exam. It is run by Eddie, based in Italy. Questions about your data: [email protected].
If you study as a guest
Your answers, settings and progress stay in this browser on your phone. We do not receive them.
If you sign in
We keep your email address, your first name, how you signed in (Google or email code) and your study progress: answers, review schedule, practice exams and the problems you report. This lets you keep your progress and use it on another phone.
Ask Passly and explanations
When you ask Passly a question or ask for an explanation, the text and any picture you add are sent to our AI provider to write the answer. We save answers without your name, so the next learner who asks the same thing gets it faster. Do not write private details in your questions.
Microphone
When you answer by voice, your browser turns your speech into text. Passly does not record or keep your voice.
Who helps us
Cloudflare runs our website and stores account data. Anthropic (Claude) writes AI answers. Google handles Google sign-in. Resend sends the sign-in code emails. Stripe handles payments; Passly never sees your card details. They only use your data to do this work for us.
What we never do
No ads. No selling or sharing your data for marketing. No tracking cookies. The app only uses your browser's storage so it can work.
How long we keep it
Account data stays until you delete your account. Email codes expire after 10 minutes. A sign-in lasts up to one year on a phone, or until you sign out.
Your rights
You can see, download, correct and delete your data at any time from Profile, or by writing to us. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Age
Passly is for people aged 14 and over. If you are under 14, a parent or guardian must agree before you create an account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top and tell you in the app if the change is important.
